My girlfriend, Deb, and I usually walk out kids to the bus stop. Afterwards she usually comes over for coffee. On my husband’s birthday he went into work a little late and I asked Deb if she would mind walking the kids without me. As soon as they were out the door, I gave my husband his birthday surprise right there on my knees in the kitchen. My husband loved it. When I was done he zipped up and headed off to work. Deb walked in as he was walking out with a huge grin on his face. Deb gave me a knowing look. I innocently asked, “what?” She just laughed at me and told me I might want to wipe my chin.
